BLAMMO
This type design project involved developing a complete hand-drawn typeface based on vintage bubble gum brand packaging. Starting from an existing typeface found within the reference material, we analyzed its structure and visual rhythm, then extended it by designing the remaining glyphs in a cohesive, original style. Using provided measurement guidelines, each letter, number, and symbol was carefully constructed by hand to maintain consistency across the full set.
The resulting typeface was then applied to a poster that reimagines the energy and nostalgia of the original inspiration through a contemporary lens. Project created in collaboration with Kayla Salisbury, Luisa Ortega, and Zoe Kackman.
