Culinary Community Center
Our team of five was assigned to research and design for how heritage could be revealed through food. As current college students, the difficult balance between remaining connected to our cultural foods while navigating a busy college life is what first came to mind. The final outcome after the 10 week project was the Culinary Community Center, an on-campus space where students could have easy access to shop cultural foods, monthly cultural cooking classes, and even community space to connect with friends over food. Project in collaboration with Kayla Salisbury, Luisa Ortega, Tam Tran, and Zoe Kackman.
