Culinary Community Center
Our team of five explored how cultural heritage can be expressed and preserved through food, focusing on the realities of college life and the challenge of staying connected to cultural traditions within it. Through research into student experiences and food accessibility on campus, we identified a need for spaces that support both convenience and cultural continuity.
The outcome was the Culinary Community Center, an on-campus space designed to give students access to cultural groceries, monthly cooking classes, and communal dining areas for gathering and connection. Project in collaboration with Kayla Salisbury, Luisa Ortega, Tam Tran, and Zoe Kackman.
